catching up.
Busy as a cat on a hot ten roof!!

Been staying with mom to help care for her, the past ten weeks.
I have been doing most of the yard work for a few years, but that was the bigger thing
i did for them before now.

When our son was born, we started calling my parents Grandpa, and Grandma.
Things just got done at their home automatically.
You could come to their house and the whole house would be clean. There was always food to snack
on inbetween meals, and a big dinner at dinner time. Always clean towels in the bathroom.
The beds were always made-up and clean. Floors mopped, and everything dusted.
It never look like anything needed doing.

We have a health care person for mom now, But the house is always keeping me busy.
This past week I was breaking in a new care keeper, she is wonderful, but the first week
is tough for all.

I used to come and cut grass every two or three weeks. Now with all the good rain I have
to do it each week. Thursday is grass day. After the mowing and weedeating, I cut one tree
that had no buissiness growing here. Then pruned the other trees, worked with the flowers
some, and fixed the rabbit a place to eat when he comes by.

Jeanelle is helping to keep things going at home, but the cabin up in the hills is getting the short
end of the stick right now, but that can't be helped.

But I took time to hide a geocache, one rainy day a week or so ago. I will hide another one real
soon just to get out of the house for a little while.

Fun news is I will be having some homemade icecream on the 4th. Who knows maybe a
watermellon too., Want some with me? ever had hotslaw and watermellon? huh!
