Been busy as a cat on a hot tin roof this week. I rode the bike every morning. Then had some caching to do. As posted here before, I had to archive the Pickett Mill virual Site. That was no biggy. Then this week I had to put the
Allatoona Dam cache to sleep after a year of good service with over 60 visits. This came about because of construction in the area of the cache.
It was time to put out a new cache or two. So two it is. First new one is near the dam, but in a lot better location. You will have to climb up a big hill or as the cache page says a mountian. It is over looking the dam on the south side near a radio tower. If you look from the right place there is a great view of the lake. I named it after the mountian that it is on. It is all new and in a new location. See cache page here.Vineyard Mountain
Second new one is more of a hike than the first one. It is on a 11 mile loop
trail. And you guessed it, on the far site from the trail head. There is
also another cache there. That is how I found the great place. It is for
biking, horse back riding and hiking is fine too. I named it
Lance Creek after the wonderful creek that the trail follows where I put the cache. This cache and the one that is nearby could easy take a day, but
a fun day in the mountains.
I enjoyed the week, and now to the GGA Meeting tomorrow.

I took on a job this week, so it was work and no play. Today I didn't go caching or bicyling, but I did go ride
the route that BRAG will follow Fathers Day. That is going to be a great ride, from Rockmart to Rome.
I hope to ride some everyday next week.
