HAPPY END of NOVEMBER
I had three caches on my to do list.
Brushy Mt Teaser, Gotcha, and Thats not Fair.
I did Brushy Mt Teaser over a week ago with Trailer Man. I went for Gotcha yesterday with no luck. Went back today, and still couldn't find the second stage. I did get That's Not fair. That made me feel a little better.
I also picked up a few drive-bys going and coming today. I will go back sometime later and look again for Gotcha when I have a better mine set. I rode the bicycle two days and I was feeling great both days, but just could not get into it cache hunting. That tells to to get back on the bike and ride for a few more days.
Maybe December will bring great joy.
I went out this morning to find a yoyo cache, but no smily. Will try agin tomorrow,
Starhopping
I was going to put a note on the starhopping page, but thought better of doing that. I didn't want to impose on Sparc77's hospitality any more than I already have. I put a note there when I was there with Trailer Man, and that is enough. But I wanted to brag about going back for a third time. First time was in Aug while testing with Allen. It was hot and the whole trip up and back down took almost 4 hours, and we both said never again. Then and few weeks ago I sorta pushed myself on Trailer Man and his wife to let me go with them, and being two of the nicest people I know they said sure come on. Well we made in a lot less time. The trip was well under 3 hours.
I did some braging about going up Sugar Loaf twice.
Three yes, a third trip up this bad boy. Nov 24th Robert
did the starhopping cachs and I had told him back when me and Allen did it that he should do it if he ever got the time, that I would go with him up the mountain. So he called and said he was ready to go up it and I was as good as my word a met him up there. He was running a little late due to finding the other stages. We went up it in one hour. After he found it we headed back down useing flash lights. That was somewhat fun and it slowed Robert down enough for me to keep up, Well he did have to wait a little on me. We made it down in 30 minutes.
Any body want company going to Sugar Loaf.
Quite Day inside watching the rain, Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Turkey Day to all, and may your belly be full.
checked on the money box at moolah today. The money is still there safe a sound, but the log was signed 11/24/03. I already knew someone had done starhopping from the log book at stage 6 of that cache. Didn't
enter my mind that he would find moolah.
I will make a note later about the last stage of starhopping. Now my all time favorite cache.
What a pretty day!
Making changes to the moolah page today. I am lighting up on the hunt a little I hope.
see what I said about it by using the link on the left side of this page.
Now I'm gone for a bicycle ride, Will update the Cache page tonight.
One down:
Brushy Mountain Tunnel Teaser is in the bag. I was ready for a long hunt, but it was a quickie.
I have three must do caches. I will be doing real soon.
That's Not Fair! This looks real interesting
Brushy Mountain Tunnel Teaser This one has only 3 finds and a list of no finds
gotcha Yoyo man once told me he liked to read long interesting stories in the cache logs. Well he now has them in the logs of one of his own caches. I got to go see what it is all about. LOL
Abner, my blue S10 geomobil was repaired today. I hope he don't leak oil anymore.
Back to caching now. That is after I get things back in order here at the house.
the little S10 is still smoking like a train. Me and Troy are going to tear into it tomorrow, and see if we can plug up some more holes. The Oil is leaking not burning, but when it drips on the exhaust it smokes. I need to get back to caching, can't do much of that by bicycle.
Great News!
"What? You gave a hint for Moolah?"
No. But I just saved a bundle on my car insurance.
Three old guys are out walking. First one says, "Windy isn't it?". Second one says, "No its Thursday!". Third one says, "So am I! Let's go get a beer!".
moolah is getting so much attention it is embarrassing to me. I know it is hard and the hunters understand that, but it still makes me feel a little uneasy. So for those that read this please hold up a week or two. I have a new prize ordered to go in the cache that will add some more moolah. Plus I have plans to adjust the second stage
(the hard one ) a little to make the hunt a little more precise.
Some bad news:
Yesterday:
Charlie got stung by some yellow jackets while hunting Moolah with his best friend yoyo. He had to go to the Vet, but he is going to be alright. We wish him the best.
I got an email from Bill a few minutes ago. He still hasn't found this page. I sure he will soon. But then he will have to find the moolah page. I love it.
A cute joke for today:
Bob wakes up at home with a huge hangover. He forces himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees is a couple of
aspirins and a glass of water on the side table. He sits down and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed. Bob
looks around the room and sees that it is in a perfect order, spotless, clean. So's the rest of the house. He takes the aspirins and
notices a note on the table "Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to go shopping. Love you."
So he goes to the kitchen and sure enough there is a hot breakfast and the morning newspaper. His son is also at the table,
eating.
Bob asks, "Son, what happened last night?"
His son says, "Well, you came home after 3 A.M., drunk and delirious. Broke some furniture, puked in the hallway, and gave
yourself a black eye when you stumbled into the door."
Confused, Bob asks, "So, why is everything in order and so clean, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me?"
His son replies, "Oh that! Mom dragged you to the bedroom, and when she tried to take your pants off you said, "Lady leave
me alone, I'm married'!"
A good cacher will find a cache with his/her GPS. A great cacher sometimes has to utilize other resources as well. We all use the computer to get the cache page telling us the coords and a desription before we start the hunt. Sometimes the desription will let us know, by a puzzle, or some kind of code, that a search on the internet is in order.
My pet cache Moolah is one of them caches that was made to be hard to find. It has been tryed and proved to be safe from the finder so for.
If you are a hunter and found this page you may well be on your way to sucess. If you find and follow the moolah link to its page there is some information there that could help you on your way.
Agreat weekend was born from the trip to Savannah. We got up early Friday morning and took off. The car was loaded the night before. We eat breakfast as it got day light in Dublin. Back on the road we stopped at three caches as we rode all the way to Tybee Island. We took in some sites and found some more caches.
We got our feet wet on the beach, took a few pictures. Then we rode around in Savannah a little, then checked in the motel late afternoon. At 6:00 PM we met with a group of other cachers for Dinner at The Shell House for some good Seafood and visit with friends. Learned what the big hole in the tables where for. Saturday morning
more cache hunting and site seeing. After lunch we went to the site where the GGA meeting was and join the others as they got there. After a good meeting we were off as a group again to eat BBQ. After eating, and eating we Called it a day and went back to the motel. Sunday was a day of site seeing, caching , and trip home. It was fun!!!!
to my good friend Sig.other. If you found this, stay tuned. I will be putting some note here soon, that you might find interesting. LOL
getting all packed up to go Savannah for the November GGA meeting. Loaded a ton of caches in the GPSer.
Hope to see the sites as well find a few caches. Will leave durring the night.
I'm back after a long time away. I have had a wonderful time with moolah. It has done its job well. I have been asked
for hints. I was holding off a while to see if tinsparrow started starhopping. I feel like he will soon. In the meanwhile I am going to put out a decoy that will help find the 2nd stage. That will happen before the end of
november. Any hint that goes out will be here first. Do you read this.
