A little of This and That

Who would have thunk it? It has taken over three years to build a car. Not too bad, because it is not uncommon to take ten years for a ground up build. I could wind it up and be on the road in about three weeks, if I had the funds for the last few pieces. It will be about 4 more months, getting a few parts each month. Low income you know.
Big decision! If you have ever heard me talk about retirement, you know that I tell people that I have not had a day off since I retired. I have decided to renew my retirement. I am going to retire again on Sept. 30 2008. Of course I hope the car will be on the road by then, but if not, I will geterdone in my spare time. I will kick back and enjoy life even more than I have the last few years. The reason I don't do it today is I want to look forward to it. I have a few months to get ready for my new retirement. My health is stable and I am almost stress free. So I will gear down and plan for the days that will be fun loaded and relaxed, and have time for good fellowship with friends. BTW I've been barefooted for 15 days, and loving it!Labels: kick back
