I have been reading quite a bid on blogs about folks that are trying to drop a few pounds.
I too am getting ready to lose a few pounds.
I am not going to get into the way to eat right, as I think that is well known to all of us. That is We eat too much period.
Here is a few tips that has help me in the past.
1. Exercise is as big of deal as eating right.
2. Don't ride around in a parking lot hunting a space near the door.
Park out at the far side, and walk to the store door.
3. Get rid of the riding mower, and use the old push mower.
4. Don't drive down to the neighbor's house. Walk.
5. Make love once or twice each day.
6. When your belly feels empty drink beer,, no no I mean water.
7. Get rid of that bike rack, and ride the bicycle from the front door.
8. Check your weight everyday.
9. Don't go to bed hungry, eat a piece of fruit, and drink and glass of water.
10. Treat yourself to one pig out a week. I eat a full meal for lunch every Thursday.
11. Find one or more geocaches a week that requires a hike.
12. Don't set with your feet under the table very long.
13. Turn off the TV and go find a geocache. Count numbers if it gets you outside.
14. Plan a bicycling cache hunt with me or someone else soon.
15. Visit three waterfalls in one day each month.
16. Sat a number for your weight and then shoot for it this year in time
to enjoy the thanksgiving meal.
I'm at 189 pounds today!
