Happy Easter to all

Ok today this comes as a tiny Rant

We have some city slickers that call themselfs Mountain GeoCachers.
They drive these fancy 4X4 trucks, Jeeps, and the like, on well maintained
forest service roads and hike on the super high volume, well traveled AT
trail. Do you ever find them off trail climbing mountains? I DON'T THINK SO!
There is a mountain cache called KVOM "Kache Visable on Mountain"
It is off trail, bush wacking for sure. Of the current finders half of them
are ladies, one of them has been there twice. I'm an old grezzer and I have
been there twice. All of the male finders to date are true born mountain cachers.
It takes a lot more then a pretty 4X4 and a camel bak to find Kache Visible on Mountain

/end of rant

Hmmm ... do you consider 'Big Boy' as being 'fancy'?
I'm still waiting for OG to build me a tram, so I can go get it.

BTW - did you guys find the original cache, or did you replace it last Saturday?

p.b
Naw Big Boy an't fancy, it is down right pretty. "Pretty Boy"
Bet he could off road for a half mile or so.

We found it, Then we overhauled it.
I went crazy with my orange paint.
The box now has orange glow color on it. A orange tie down and orange all around it.

A blind person could find it now.
A lot of trading went on that I didn't keep up with. But it was all good stuff, but most of the original goodies was traded out except the compass, and something else. I did notice they had a hard time getting it to close.
I have read some where that pigs are color blind, so I don't know if all that orange would help

:-)

No worries he will have his city slicker buddy in his mall cruiser 4x4 to find it for hi,...hehe
Since pigs are colorblind ... I brought along my 'Seeing Eye Trez' today. And we were successful. I even got a picture of the 30-mile post, too.
