I feel goooood!
I took a break from Henry, that is I was a little tired of working on the old car.
I did some geocaching this week.
I have found how to get the most high-tech fun, adventure, challenge, and out door enjoyment out of hunting a single geocache. as apposed to finding many caches in a single day.
Monday I had a dnf near home then after lunch with down on the south side and found a new cache. Driving 138 miles.
Tuesday i went back and found the dnf and another new one near the dam for two FTF's.
Wednesday I again had a road trip, (190 miles) this time to the mountains. Stopped for a dive-by micro on hwy 52 to let Jeanell find one. Then went on to Jays Bridge and went off road for a short ways to a fairly new cache. (Abner got very muddy, but as luck would have it rained hard this morning and wash it all off.) My only find for the day.
Then off the the deep woods high in the North Georgia hills to do some scouting for a place to hide a future geocache. Found a very nice trail head. Maybe this will work out to be a good place for a long hike. Also found some places to camp out for a future caching trip. Then a stop in Blue Ridge for a good supper.
All and all a very enjoyable caching day.
Now back to work on the car.
