Memo from the who cares department:

Henry is my 1950 Ford the I started rebuilding a year ago, January 2006. I am using modern components to make it road worthy for this day and time. Retaining its original appearance and nostalgia.
This is mostly a personal post about cost, that is here for my use when I later say what was I thinking, I can come back and see.

I made a kitty for Henry about 10 years ago. Last year it looked like all the prices had doubled and the kitty was not gaining as much as the increase in pricing. I decided that I needed to get started if I was going to get it done in time to enjoyed riding in it.
Now the kitty is dry. I drew out the last of Henry's money last November. The kitty was left out of the Holiday gifts. I used my small left over income in this January to get a few things so I can crank it soon.

Now I am going to feed the kitty again. This will make things go smooth again. I want it to have a thousand dollar cushion.
I'm thinking that it will take at least another three grand to it on the road. That does not include insurance and tag.
So now I have to cut back on some stuff to be able to feed the kitty. The Household kitty is in great shape, but we don't rob that kitty to feed the car kitty. Tighten the belt is in order. Henry will be on semi-hold for a little while.
