Henry and Doctor updates:
First comes Henry:
I had not worked durring Christmas. I did some geocaching the first week of the year, and it was a welcome break. This week I worked on the transmission. I took off the pan and replace it with a Cast aluminum pan that has cooling fins that dissipates heat. It holds a quart more fluid. This should add live to the transmission. I install a new frame rail transmission cooler with 1/2 aluminum tudes with turbulater fins. I got it all plumbed in with new lines.
A year ago when I rewired the car, I put the engine compartment wires in a neat roll a left them hanging until the engine was installed. This week I also wired the engine, the temp and oil senders, the electric choke, alternation, distributor, ac, coil, and starter and so on. The hard part was keeping it all neat so it looks good. It looks good to me anyway. Next I am going to order the electric engine fan. Then I can install the radiator, its hoses.
Now the Doctor stuff.
I told my primary Doctor "Your Fired" .... I used him for all my diabetes needs. He is a good doctor, but his wife runs the office, phone, and everything else except tend to the people.
I had an appointment a few weeks ago. I set there for a hour in the truck waiting for someone to get there. No one showed up that day. A few days later I went up and seen they were there, but I put it off till after Christmas. I ran out of my pills just after the 1st of the month. I called and she said that they didn't have an opening til the 10th. The door still says walk ins welcome.
Anyway I said I'm out of my pills. She said you should called before you run out. I said but I didn't and I'm out now. She said I'm putting down for the tenth.
I went to my wifes Doctor who does take walk ins and he said man you don't need to wait to get pills. I will be glad to take your diabetes needs. He told me that if it had been over a year since I had seen the eye Doctor that he wanted me to do that too. It is something that he requires for his diabetes folks to do.
This was all less than an hour after I talked to my Doctors office on the phone.
I then go to the pharmacy to get the pills and while I was waiting, my old Doctors wife phone in a perscription for my pills. But still has not told me about it.
Anyway I will be not seeing them again.
I went to the Heart Doctor today and all is well.
