a day at the office with an old Geezer
With BRAG just around the corner I HAVE got to get my bicycling legs under me. Last week it was time to ride more than one hour per outing. And go out more than once a week. I went out monday for a 35 mile ride, and again Wed. for over 30 miles.
In the meantime I had to keep up my every day chore's. Here come Friday, and there was a new cache near Neels Gap.
I was up at 4am. Got ready, and drove to North Georgia. Was on the AT hiking as soon as it was light enough to see. Hell I am in good shape, after bicyling two days this week, so I pushed it going up the mountain. I was joined by some hikers for the cache hunt, and I team up with seasoned hikers that were young enough to be my children for the hike out. I just couldn't let them go off and leave me could I? I was back at my truck by 11am . Then Saturday morning I was so sore that I could only creep around. Cutting grass today so back to the yard
